Website path Prompting Free module
Your first page
A one-page site for a small business, written from a single clear prompt.
Example brief
A neighborhood bakery wants a one-page site. It sells bread, pastries and custom cakes, and takes orders by email.
An example. Use your own idea next.
Steps
- Read the example brief and note three things the page must say.
- Write one prompt that names the business, who visits, and the sections you want.
- Generate, then read the preview as a customer would: is it clear what to do next?
What you will learn
- Semantic HTML
- Tags such as header, section and h1 describe meaning, not just looks. Search engines and screen readers depend on them.
- Prompt specificity
- A prompt that names the audience, content and constraints leaves the model fewer ways to guess wrong.
- Viewport meta
- One meta tag tells phones to use the real screen width. Without it, pages render tiny and zoomed out.
A sample prompt
Build a one-page site for Green Street Bakery, a neighborhood bakery that sells bread, pastries and custom cakes. Visitors are local families. Include a headline, sections for bread, cakes and how to order, and a button that says 'Order a cake by email'. Warm, friendly tone and plain words.
Write yours first, then compare.
To complete it
Pass all 7 checks on one version, then accept.
