App path Foundations Free module
Your first screen
A small interactive app that reacts to a click and shows the result on screen.
Example brief
A friend wants a simple tracker for the plants they water: one place to add a plant, tick it off and see the list update.
An example. Use your own idea next.
Steps
- Read the brief and list two things a person can do in the app.
- Pick an app type and a look, then write one sentence about what it keeps track of.
- Generate, then use the preview: does every button do something?
What you will learn
- Events
- A click, key press or form submit that the page can react to. Code listens for events and runs when one happens.
- Browser runtime
- The browser runs your HTML, CSS and JavaScript on every phone and computer, so a first version needs no install.
A sample prompt
A plant watering tracker for a busy household. People add a plant with a note, tick it off when watered and remove it. Calm and friendly.
Write yours first, then compare.
To complete it
Pass all 7 checks on one version, then accept.
